Loyd Studios Block Party
Loyd Visuals has established itself as a cornerstone of Charlotte's Black creative community, offering access to innovative projects, impactful events, and now, a new creative hub with the launch of Loyd Studios.
Situated in the heart of Camp North End, Loyd Studios is a dynamic event venue and photography space designed to support local talent and disrupt the status quo. Equipped with state-of-the-art photography tools and a mission to foster community engagement, this space is poised to energize Charlotte's creative scene.
To celebrate its grand opening, the Loyd Visuals team hosted a summer block party like no other—complete with local vendors, live DJ sets, and exclusive tours of the new studio.
My Role
Brand Development & Event Design
I was tasked with designing the event assets and promotional materials for the block party, including posters, banners, and in-event branding. Using bold, vibrant colors to capture the essence of summer, I developed a cohesive brand system that seamlessly tied the event together—from the streets leading to the venue to the event space itself.
The Results
Making Waves in Charlotte
The block party drew hundreds of attendees who enjoyed great music, delicious food from local businesses, and a chance to connect with the Loyd family and their growing brand. This event not only showcased the new studio but also solidified Loyd Visuals’ reputation as a leader in Charlotte’s creative community.
