My Role

Crafting the Event

I took on the responsibility of designing event branding and creating a reusable template for Game Industry Gathering. This template provided flexibility for ongoing use while maintaining a cohesive visual identity for the series.

The Kickoff

Bringing Gaming Together

The first Game Industry Gathering took place at the Ford Building in Charlotte’s Camp North End district, setting the tone for a recurring series in the metro area. The event featured:

  • Games from local developers
  • Hands-on physical game testing
  • A showcase of POTIONS & PIXELS’ iconic Artcade machines, gaming systems uniquely painted by local artists

This launch successfully combined community building and creativity, establishing a dynamic hub for Charlotte’s gaming enthusiasts.
